The Sirona handpiece portfolio has been expanded with two new contra-angles that have been specially designed for implantology and surgical applications. These robust and solid instruments are called IMPLANT 20:1 and IMPLANT 80:1 in keeping with their step-down gearing ratios. Thanks to their high resilience of up to 70 Ncm  sufficient speed and torque the IMPLANT handpieces are suited for drilling and shaping – from smoothing the alveolar crest to screwing in the implant. Both models have an ISO coupling  thus making them compatible with standard electric motors.
